 Review on Power System Probabilistic Small Signal Stability with High Wind Power Integration

Abstract:  ABSTRACT:   With large-scale development and utilization of renewable power especially wind power, the structure of traditional power system has been changed, and wind power integration has brought new challenges to power system stable operation and control. Based on the characteristics of large-scale wind power, this paper concludes the recent progress and new trends on research of power system probabilistic small signal  stability with high wind power integration, and then discusses the control strategy of probabilistic  small signal stability wind farm integration when improving power system. Finally, this paper proposes some suggestions for further research in this area, which can provide reference and guidance for the research of the power system  probabilistic  small signal stability  with high wind power integration.
